Moving off Campus
1) Before you moving into your new apartment or house, document details about its condition
Ex: List all marks, scratches, holes, odors, etc.
2) Take pictures of problems with a camera that has a date function.
Some owners will keep an entire deposit because of a small problem.
3) Never barrow your roommates money.
If you do, have him/her sign an I.O.U with a specific due date.
4) Lock your room doors during a party. Assume everything in the open will be stolen.
5) Don't die. Many residents drink way to much.
